About the role

Role Overview

Join BlueLabs as a Data Analyst supporting the data science and engagement teams. You will analyze data, help design and deliver analytics products, and collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot problems and build predictive models.

Key Missions

Analyze data and contribute to the design and delivery of analytics products
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, data scientists, program managers, and external stakeholders to create solutions
Support model building, including predictive models
Document processes and evangelize new approaches to improve team excellence

Responsibilities

Build and maintain analytics outputs and dashboards/visualizations
Assist with experimental design and causal inference work
Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences (writing and verbally)

Requirements

Ability to build user interfaces for new products using frameworks such as Shiny or Django
Strong foundations in statistics and modeling (e.g., distributions, parameter estimation, confidence intervals and tests)
Ability to create engaging data visualizations using industry-leading tools
Knowledge of experimental design and causal inference
Proficient in a statistical programming language: R, Python, or Julia
Ability to build predictive models using regression and machine learning techniques
Capability to learn/handle SQL for data manipulation
Undergraduate degree in a quantitative field (or equivalent experience)

Nice-to-haves

Experience implementing analytics products end-to-end (design → delivery)
Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
