Role overview
Data Analyst (Annotation) for remote, hourly work (~20 hours/week). You’ll help improve AI systems by producing consistent, high-quality annotated data outputs.
Responsibilities
- Synthesize information from large volumes of data
- Annotate and categorize text, images, and other data according to detailed guidelines
- Apply predefined rubrics and taxonomies to generate structured outputs
- Flag inconsistencies, ambiguities, or errors in datasets
- Contribute to AI system improvement through consistent annotation work
Requirements
- Ability to synthesize complex/high-volume information into structured formats
- Strong critical reasoning, reading comprehension, and written communication skills
- Prior experience using rubrics/taxonomies/standardized guidelines (preferred)
- College degree and experience with data annotation projects
Contract & compensation
- Hourly contract
- $23–$30 per hour
- Remote
