Key missions

  • Contribute to building models and tools for care teams serving Medicaid patients.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and analytics teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain Python code for data processing, model development, and ML pipelines using software engineering best practices.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Solid foundations in statistical and machine learning methods, including classical ML and an understanding of modern AI and LLM applications.

  • Familiarity with ML experimentation practices (experiment tracking, model validation, reproducible workflows).
  • 1–2 years of industry data science experience.
  • Genuine curiosity about healthcare and its intersection with technology.

Nice to have

  • Not explicitly stated, but encouraged to apply even if you don’t meet every qualification.
