Role Overview
Customer Success Manager (First US Hire) for a B2B SaaS/software company. Own and grow the US customer base, support the CS function, and eventually lead junior team members. Reports into a UK-based Director of Operations and Customer Success.
Responsibilities
- Own and grow the US customer base
- Drive customer adoption and account growth through direct customer engagement
- Build and mature Customer Success processes (and level up the function)
- Support junior Customer Success team members and eventually lead two junior hires
- Bring a modern, AI-enabled approach to Customer Success
Requirements
- Strong B2B SaaS/software customer success background
- Experience speaking directly with customers
- Proven ability to drive adoption and grow customer accounts
- Experience building Customer Success processes
- Experience in construction or industrial/manufacturing (or closely related) vertical
- Must have full US work authorization
Nice to Have
- Prior experience scaling Customer Success teams/functions
- Experience with AI-enabled approaches in CS (or adjacent innovation mindset)
Compensation
- Expected base salary: $95k–$110k plus bonus, benefits, and equity
Remote / Location
- Remote role for someone based on the East Coast or Central US (examples listed: Florida, Georgia, Austin, Charlotte, Raleigh, Atlanta, Nashville, Dallas).
