About the role
Role Overview
Customer Success Manager for Tulip’s General Manufacturing customers. You will own the strategic relationship and long-term success plan for a portfolio of enterprise manufacturing accounts.
Key Missions
- Develop and manage the strategic customer relationship and long-term success plan.
- Drive customer adoption and value realization by aligning Tulip’s platform with each customer’s operational objectives.
- Monitor account health, run regular business reviews, and lead renewal and retention strategy.
- Mentor and coach other Customer Success Managers.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues.
Requirements
- Clear communication across roles and seniority (from shop floor to engineering managers to C-level).
- Strong problem-solving skills, including working through ambiguity and structuring information into actionable initiatives.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to partner with customers to deliver measurable impact.
- Track record driving renewals, expansion, and net revenue retention.
- Experience coordinating and leading cross-functional action (Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Professional Services).
- Ability to create and lead executive presentations and strategic conversations with VP+ stakeholders.
- Experience with manufacturing/industrial/operations customers and implementing shop-floor or operational change.
- Data-driven approach to measuring and communicating customer value and account health.
- 6+ years in customer success, account management, or client-facing consulting with meaningful experience owning enterprise account portfolios.
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s/MBA is a plus).
Nice-to-Haves
- Familiarity with MES, ERP, or shop-floor systems.
- Direct experience implementing manufacturing shop-floor change or business information technology systems in operational environments.
Logistics
- Full remote; travel up to 20% of the time.
