Customer Success Manager (Enterprise, Central)

Role overview

Customer Success Manager (Enterprise, Central) at Chainguard. You are the primary post-sales contact for enterprise customers, owning the customer engagement lifecycle from onboarding through implementation and adoption.

Key missions

• Take responsibility for customer engagement from integration to adoption, collaborating with internal teams to ensure success.
• Act as the voice of the customer internally, advocating for customer needs and requirements.
• Build relationships with multiple stakeholder levels and work closely with sales to identify opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer engagements across onboarding, implementation, and adoption.
• Drive business success planning and manage customer accounts.
• Manage issues and escalations; decide when to involve executive/C-suite stakeholders.
• Develop product expertise and provide customer-facing training and education support.
• Advocate to internal teams (e.g., sales, product, engineering) and coordinate cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in enterprise or customer-facing roles collaborating with technical and business teams.
• Experience in one or more of: Customer Success, Professional Services, Technical Account Management, plus Sales/Solutions Engineering/Technical Support.
• Strong emotional intelligence, priority management, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Strategic, proactive, autonomous ownership of a customer portfolio, including de-risking/de-escalating issues.
• Passion for technology and cybersecurity.
• Relevant domain knowledge in one or more areas: Supply Chain Security, DevSecOps, AppSec, security infrastructure, regulatory compliance, vulnerability management, and software development lifecycle.
• Hands-on technical experience in one or more: AWS/GCP/Azure, containers, Linux, supply chain security, DevSecOps, AppSec, security infrastructure, compliance, vulnerability management, SDLC.
