About the role

Role Overview

The Customer Project Manager leads and coordinates multiple customer-facing projects from initiation through successful delivery. You act as the central point of coordination between customers and internal teams, ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, and deliverables in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple concurrent customer projects end-to-end (initiation through completion), ensuring timelines, scope, quality standards, and deliverables are met
  • Build and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, documentation, and milestone tracking for full visibility
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer stakeholders with regular status updates and clear communication
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (onboarding, technical implementation, sales, product, and customer success)
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; proactively communicate issues and propose actionable solutions
  • Monitor project performance against timelines and KPIs, ensuring delivery quality and customer satisfaction
  • Track deliverables, escalate issues when needed, and align priorities/resourcing with leadership
  • Drive process consistency and continuous improvement by refining workflows and documenting best practices
  • Prepare regular leadership reporting (project updates, risks, performance metrics, outcomes)
  • Support system setup, configuration, and integration activities with technical teams

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project management, customer implementation, or a similar client-facing coordination role
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a structured, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience creating project plans, tracking milestones, and managing deliverables end-to-end
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work across cross-functional teams and drive alignment
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation skills
  • Experience with process improvement / workflow optimization / operational efficiency initiatives
  • Comfortable working remotely and managing distributed stakeholders
  • Must have eligibility for U.S. work authorization and be able to pass required background and fingerprint checks
