About the role
Role Overview
Customer Project Manager to lead the deployment of complex healthcare IT projects across the full lifecycle—from planning and budgeting through implementation and go-live—driving high-quality delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed project plans (scope, timelines, resources, risks, quality standards)
- Lead end-to-end project execution to meet budget, schedule, and quality targets
- Monitor project budgets, track costs/effort, assess feasibility, and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including internal groups, external partners, and equipment delivery schedules
- Oversee system implementation, integration, and go-live for successful deployments
- Maintain clear stakeholder communication and produce high-quality project documentation
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements and internal policies while delivering a positive customer experience
- Identify upsell opportunities and support business growth through successful delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; or 9+ years equivalent project/program management experience
- 5+ years project management experience in IT or healthcare IT (including PACS deployment experience)
- Proven track record managing projects end-to-end with customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams
- Strong process orientation, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence at all organizational levels
- Willingness to travel up to 20% across the United States
- PMI certification required per role/level; to be obtained within the specified employment period
