Customer Engineer

Role: Customer Engineer (Nebius GPU Cloud)

You will support strategic Nebius GPU Cloud services customers as a trusted technical advisor. You’ll help clients design, deploy, and scale AI solutions while managing large-scale GPU workloads (hundreds to thousands of GPUs).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving complex AI/ML issues.
• Guide customers on optimizing GPU performance for ML training and inference, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
• Partner with sales to identify new opportunities, promote products, and deliver technical presentations.
• Bridge customer needs to product teams by relaying feature requests and ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to negotiate solutions and drive alignment on customer challenges.

Requirements

• 5+ years in roles such as Solutions Architect, Technical Account Manager, or Customer Engineer, with hands-on experience in cloud services and AI/ML workloads.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Python.
• Strong understanding of GPU computing and ML workloads, including training and inference, plus GPU stacks such as CUDA and OpenCL.
• Customer-centric mindset with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with HPC/ML orchestration frameworks (e.g., Slurm, Kubeflow).
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Familiarity with NVIDIA and major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong project management and mentoring/team growth experience.
• Stakeholder negotiation expertise to support problem resolution and collaboration.

Compensation (base)

• $179,500–$224,300 USD (base range; final compensation depends on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, level, and geography).
