About the role

Role Overview

As a Customer Engineer at Builder.io, you’ll work closely with engineering, design, and product teams to help customers reimagine digital experiences using Builder’s platform.

Key Responsibilities

Lead onboarding programs for enterprise design and engineering teams, guiding implementation and optimization.
Collaborate across teams (developers and designers) to improve how customers adopt and use Builder’s platform.
Develop enablement resources and playbooks, capturing learnings from customer engagements and scaling effective workflows.
Partner with product and engineering teams to feed back customer needs and improve platform outcomes.

Requirements

Proven experience supporting or implementing complex software for enterprise customers.
4+ years of front-end development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
Familiarity with headless/web architectures, including APIs and GraphQL, and how content/data flows through large systems.
Ability to translate technical and business needs into clear plans that drive adoption and measurable outcomes.
Strong collaboration mindset in fast-moving environments; open to feedback, learning, and experimentation.

Nice to Have

Experience with (or strong curiosity about) prompt design, generative AI tools, and LLM-based development workflows.
