About the role

Role Overview

Corporate Legal Counsel at Logicbroker providing broad legal support across commercial transactions, compliance, and corporate matters in a high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including SaaS, eCommerce, and partnership contracts.
Partner with revenue, product, and business teams to build scalable contract templates, playbooks, and negotiation processes.
Advise on data privacy, data security, intellectual property, and related compliance issues.
Support corporate governance, vendor management, and IP portfolio activities (e.g., trademarks, copyrights, enforcement).
Improve legal processes to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
Manage outside counsel across multiple legal areas as needed.
Translate complex legal topics into practical guidance for business and technical teams.

Requirements

Strong understanding of commercial B2B laws, SaaS, eCommerce, data privacy, data security, and intellectual property.
7+ years of experience in law firm and/or in-house commercial/transactional roles.
JD required; must be in good standing in New York or able to obtain good standing.
CIPP/US certification required.
Proven ability to manage outside counsel effectively.
Strong communication skills; can explain legal concepts to non-lawyers.
Comfortable in fast-paced, unstructured environments with a hands-on, collaborative approach.

Nice to Have

CIPP/EU, CIPT, or CISSP.
Experience with legal operations or process improvement (e.g., Six Sigma).
