Corporate Finance Manager (G&A)

Role Overview

Join Instacart’s Strategic Finance team as a Corporate Finance Manager (G&A), focused on G&A OpEx. You will be a high-visibility finance partner to G&A cost center owners, driving planning, forecasting, and performance management for executive-level decisions. The role also offers opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve workflows and insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary finance partner to G&A cost center owners, owning end-to-end financial planning, forecasting, and performance management.
• Own the monthly and quarterly Actuals vs. Forecast (AvF) process for G&A OpEx, including variance analysis and executive-ready commentary.
• Lead the annual budget process and monthly forecast cycles for G&A, aligning headcount plans, vendor spend, and discretionary budgets with cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• 6+ years in Strategic/Corporate Finance, FP&A, or a related analytical role at a high-growth public technology company.
• Advanced financial modeling and forecasting skills, with experience supporting data-driven executive decision-making.
• Strong executive communication skills (preparing and presenting materials to VP and C-suite stakeholders).
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities, operate cross-functionally, and deliver in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Data Science, or related field.

Nice-to-haves / Preferred

• Experience in FP&A/Corporate/Strategic Finance, consulting, equity research, or data science/analytics.
• Prior experience with consumer marketplace or SaaS businesses.
• Prior experience operating in a public company environment.
• Interest in leveraging AI and automation to improve efficiency and insights.
