Role: Copywriter

Write high-quality, SEO-driven content that follows detailed, client-specific guidelines. Work is focused on content for eCommerce and lead-generation sites.

Responsibilities

• Produce copy for web pages such as:
  • Category pages
  • Product descriptions
  • Blog posts
• Create content that blends SEO best practices with brand priorities to deliver engaging, creative, ROI-driven results.
• Perform careful research to understand different industries and write accurately.
• Provide a portfolio of published work.
• Complete a brief training course after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Excellent English writing skills
• 2–4 years of professional (non-academic) copywriting experience
• Ability to follow detailed guidelines and deliver polished, client-ready output
• Comfort writing across changing and specialized client industries

Strongly encouraged (specialized background)

Compensation

• Paid per word based on a KPI rubric, with automatic rate increases after pages go live.
• Initial compensation: up to $0.06/word (most typical $0.034/word), approximately $30 per 500-word page (or $17 for $0.034/word).
• After 400 pages live: top $0.064/word (most typical $0.038/word), approximately $32 per 500-word page (or $19).
• After 800 pages live: top $0.07/word (most typical $0.044/word), approximately $35 per 500-word page (or $22).
