Contracts Manager

Role Overview

Panopto is hiring a Contracts Manager (full remote) to design, review, and scale its global contract infrastructure. You will own the end-to-end contract lifecycle and partner closely with Sales, Finance, and Information Security to protect company interests while keeping deals moving.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, review, and scale global contract infrastructure to accelerate business growth
• Own the contract lifecycle, ensuring legal/commercial protections while maintaining operational speed
• Review and negotiate commercial agreements, including customer software agreements, vendor contracts, and partner frameworks
• Optimize legal infrastructure by improving processes and collaboration across teams
• Drive process automation to reduce manual administrative friction
• Use and continuously improve contract management and automation software to streamline initial reviews

Requirements / Profile

• Strong commercial acumen reviewing and negotiating commercial legal agreements in a corporate environment
• Diplomatic communication and ability to build collaborative relationships across Sales, Finance, and external teams
• Pragmatic problem solving with attention to detail and strong commercial judgment
• System fluency with Salesforce and CLM (contract lifecycle management) platforms
• Proven experience using legal automation tools to reduce standard deal cycle times
• Formal legal education (e.g., J.D. / LL.M. or equivalent) and/or robust corporate paralegal credentials
• Direct, clear written communication and a proactive, customer-first mindset

• Experience working with specialized contract lifecycle and automation workflows beyond baseline CLM usage
