Role Overview

Contract Technical Recruiter at Headway, partnering with engineering recruiting and hiring managers to deliver predictable hiring outcomes. You will run full-cycle searches, build targeted pipelines, and ensure an exceptional, structured candidate experience.

Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle recruiting for engineering roles, from aggressive sourcing through strategic closing
• Partner with Senior Recruiters and hiring managers to refine recruiting approaches and accelerate hiring progress
• Build and manage targeted pipelines using creative sourcing and outreach strategies
• Ensure candidates move through a consistent, structured, and inclusive process
• Break down complex searches into clear plans and proactively diagnose/resolve challenges
• Maintain operational excellence by improving workflow and reducing friction for candidates and stakeholders
• Manage multiple workstreams with structure, balancing high volume with attention to detail

Requirements

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in high-growth, tech-enabled environments (in-house, agency, or related experience)
• Ability to learn new domains quickly and deliver value in a new focus area
• Strong communication and presence with both hiring managers and candidates
• Proven ability to plan, execute predictably, and collaborate effectively in ambiguous situations
