Continuous Improvement Specialist

Role Overview

As an InProduction Continuous Improvement Specialist, you will build and drive a continuous improvement culture across the company. You’ll set and document process standards, collaborate cross-functionally to improve operations, and support Lean training and adoption (e.g., Standard Work and Kaizen).

Key Responsibilities

Process Standards

• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to improve operational processes
• Document and maintain Standard Work Instructions
• Maintain and monitor process standard revisions; communicate updates to impacted teams
• Create Process Maps and Value Stream Maps
• Maintain CI documentation assets, including templates and repository

Kaizen Events

• Prepare A3 worksheets and preparation checklists for Kaizen events
• Gather and analyze operational and financial data to define process metrics
• Support facilitation and participation in Kaizen events
• Develop rollout project plans and timelines for new processes
• Follow up with stakeholders before and after Kaizen events to ensure alignment

Operational & Management Support

• Support development of quarterly continuous improvement objectives and lean events
• Lead and support Continuous Improvement projects to drive operational improvements
• Present initiatives and project updates to operations leadership
• Support internal audits to ensure process compliance
• Teach and coach Lean principles to support cross-functional teams

Requirements

• General knowledge of Continuous Improvement and Lean principles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive mindset for identifying process improvements and influencing process changes
• Comfort working across cross-functional teams
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office 365, including Visio
