About the role

Role Overview

Contract-to-hire Talent Acquisition Vendor Manager (Contingent Workforce Program / Operations Manager) for a growing Talent Acquisition Operations and Programs team. You will support and optimize how the organization engages, procures, and manages third-party staffing and talent-related services.

San Mateo, CA (flexible hybrid)
Or Remote in approved states: CA, CO, IL, NV, OR, TX, UT, WA
Hire type: Contract-to-Hire (6 months contract)

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for procurement-related initiatives for talent acquisition/vendor management
Work with hiring leaders to manage staffing vendor activities from sourcing through purchase order (PO) creation
Create and manage PO requisitions through their lifecycle in collaboration with legal/procurement/finance
Own MSA/SOW creation, routing, and associated workflow
Ensure vendor activity runs smoothly, compliantly, and efficiently across the procurement lifecycle
Support vendor onboarding, invoice reconciliation, and resolution of billing/payment issues

Requirements

8+ years of experience in vendor management, staffing procurement, and/or talent acquisition operations
Strong expertise in procurement workflows, including:
- MSAs/SOWs
- PO creation
- Vendor onboarding
- Invoice reconciliation
Demonstrated experience working with vendors on billing issues, service clarification, and payment resolution
Exceptional organizational and communication skills
Experience navigating ATS (Workday)
