Construction Project Manager

Role Overview

JMC Commercial Contractors is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. The role is designed for someone who can thrive in a fast-paced, multi-project environment, particularly for franchise and multi-unit development.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously (kickoff to completion)
• Build and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
• Coordinate with clients, architects, landlords, and internal teams
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, contracts, and performance
• Ensure projects meet quality standards, timelines, and budget expectations
• Proactively identify and resolve risks/issues
• Provide consistent communication and reporting to stakeholders
• Support permitting, design coordination, and pre-construction activities as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company processes

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial construction project management experience
• Experience with restaurant or franchise buildouts strongly preferred
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects across different locations
• Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and cost control
• Experience with remote project management
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with construction management software (Procore preferred)
