About the role
Role Overview
The Conflicts Analyst supports conflicts-related intake and reporting for new client matters. The role also helps coordinate and document steps to resolve potential conflicts of interest.
Responsibilities
- Process conflict searches for daily new client and new matter requests within required timelines.
- Conduct detailed corporate research using various search resources (including analysis of press releases and historical entity references).
- Review and analyze Intapp Open workflow requests to ensure submissions include all required information.
- Review Conflict Results Reports to identify true potential conflicts according to established team guidelines.
- Research potential conflicts for materiality when appropriate.
- Search the Conflicts Database and other firm documents to support proper conflicts resolution.
- Coordinate with request stakeholders to clear potential conflicts.
- Communicate daily with the conflicts Manager regarding resolution status or concerns.
- Thoroughly document and organize conflict resolution records.
- Maintain phone and in-person coordination with attorneys and staff on conflict matters.
- Track status of outstanding/on-going workflow requests.
- Complete special projects assigned by the Director of Conflicts Operations and/or Conflicts Managers.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; 2- or 4-year degree preferred.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a professional services environment.
- Prior experience with Intapp required.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete work under time constraints and ongoing deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively with moderate supervision.
- Strong professionalism and exceptional client-service mindset.
- Ability to analyze and support decision-making for new client/matter processing.
Nice to Have
- Experience following bankruptcy guidelines and related rules for conflicts processing.
Work Location
- Position may be filled remotely or in any of the firm’s office locations.
