About the role
Role Overview
The Conflicts Analyst supports conflicts-related intake and reporting for new clients and matters. The role processes conflict searches, prepares conflict results, assists with conflict resolution coordination and documentation, and communicates with stakeholders to clear potential conflicts.
Responsibilities
- Process conflict searches for daily new client and new matter requests within required timelines.
- Perform detailed corporate research using multiple research resources, analyzing and applying findings from press releases and historical references.
- Review Intapp Open workflow requests to ensure submissions include required information for processing.
- Review conflict results reports to identify true potential conflicts per established team guidelines.
- Research potential conflicts to determine materiality when needed.
- Use the conflicts database and other firm documents to support appropriate conflicts resolution.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to clear potential conflicts.
- Communicate daily with the Conflicts Manager regarding resolution progress and concerns.
- Thoroughly document and organize conflict resolution documentation.
- Maintain communication with attorneys and staff involved in conflicts matters.
- Track workflow request status and handle special projects assigned by Conflicts Operations leadership.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; 2- or 4-year degree preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience required (preferably in professional services).
- Previous experience with Intapp required.
- Ability to organize and prioritize many tasks and complete work under time constraints.
- Ability to work effectively with moderate supervision within established deadlines.
- Strong professionalism and service mindset.
- Ability to analyze information and support decision-making for new client/matter processing.
Nice to Haves
- Experience following bankruptcy guidelines and related rules for conflicts processing.
