Compliance Project Manager

Role Overview

The Compliance Project Manager will lead compliance initiatives and manage projects end-to-end—from inception through completion—in a fast-paced, remote-first environment. You will translate regulatory and internal compliance requirements into actionable project plans, track progress and compliance metrics, and ensure outcomes meet both regulatory and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage compliance programs by translating regulatory requirements into structured project plans
• Oversee project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful completion of compliance initiatives
• Monitor compliance metrics, including audit completion and training participation
• Conduct risk assessments, identify compliance gaps, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams as the liaison between compliance, project stakeholders, and department heads
• Maintain high standards of quality, ethics, and operational excellence while meeting project objectives

Requirements

• Proven experience in compliance management and/or project management, with a focus on risk mitigation and operational execution
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks and certifications (ISO 27001 or similar preferred)
• Strong proficiency with modern project/collaboration tools (e.g., Google Docs, Zapier, Linear, or equivalents)
• Exceptional organizational skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives, adapt to changing requirements, and work effectively in a remote-first environment
• Professional, proactive mindset focused on delivering high-quality, compliant outcomes

• ISO 27001 (or similar) compliance framework/certification experience
