Compliance Engineer

Role Overview

You will be the first-line owner for compliance of AI outputs and client deliverables, ensuring regulatory accuracy and supporting evidence required for regulatory readiness.

Key Missions

• Own compliance for AI outputs: ensure regulatory accuracy and evidence support for AI-related deliverables.
• Support stakeholders & clients: turn raw AI outputs into accurate, usable deliverables; provide guidance, mappings, presentations, and client reports.
• Regulatory analysis & licensing readiness:
  • analyze regulatory frameworks and licensing requirements
  • support licensing and regulatory-readiness projects, including gap assessments and application preparation
• Partner with Engineering:
  • build regulatory mappings
  • create structured, reusable AI workflows for regulatory accuracy

Requirements

• Basic understanding of LLM limitations, including hallucination risk, source traceability, and human-in-the-loop review.
• 3+ years experience in engineering within areas such as compliance, regulatory consulting, digital assets, fintech/financial services compliance, compliance audits, or law-firm work.
• Strong capabilities in regulatory analysis, evidence review, and licensing documentation.
• Strong client communication and cross-functional project management.
• Professional written and spoken English; professional Chinese proficiency is preferred but not required.
• Hands-on experience with at least one of: licensing application, regulatory registration, or end-to-end regulatory-readiness project.
• Ability to handle urgent and ambiguous client-facing requests while maintaining quality.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with digital-asset regulation and VASP licensing (or similar frameworks).
