About the role
Role Overview
Compliance Analyst (Accident & Health, with some Property & Casualty) working with the Compliance Department to ensure product, marketing, and policy fulfillment activities meet regulatory and company requirements.
What You Will Do
- Prepare, develop, and issue policy contracts, amendments, and related forms for complex product structures in line with company policy and state regulations.
- Document and maintain policy issuance processes and state availability guidelines for assigned products.
- Support policy automation efforts, including user acceptance testing (UAT) of forms and benefit features.
- Maintain the forms library and publish updates for internal and external use.
- Manage fulfillment status, perform regular reporting, and complete fulfillment requests accurately and on time.
- Respond to customer requests and leverage technology to streamline fulfillment.
- Collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, Legal, and Actuarial teams.
Reporting & Oversight
- Works under the direction of the Compliance Manager.
Notes / Details
- The Compliance Department is responsible for submitting product filings (forms/rates/rules) to state departments of insurance and reviewing marketing materials for adherence to unfair trade practices and advertising guidelines.
- The role involves maintaining regulatory compliance and ensuring policies/certificates are properly issued.
