About the role

Role Overview

The Compliance Analyst supports Quorum Health’s Compliance and Privacy Program through auditing, monitoring, investigations, education, reporting, and administrative activities. You will help ensure adherence to federal and state laws and Quorum’s compliance and privacy policies, including support for investigations, breach assessment, and training.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer and Compliance/Privacy Directors across compliance and privacy law/policy efforts.
  • Handle initial intake screening, documentation, and triage of incidents reported via the Confidential Disclosure Hotline.
  • Assist Facility Compliance Officers (FCOs) and Facility Privacy Officers (FPOs) with investigations by:
    • Reviewing documentation and analyzing findings
    • Maintaining investigative files
    • Preparing investigative summaries
  • Support breach assessment and notification, including documentation and required reporting materials.
  • Respond to routine staff questions about privacy and compliance policies, procedures, and requirements.
  • Create and maintain compliance/privacy educational content, including:
    • Awareness communications, newsletters, and training resources
    • Education tracking reports
  • Support onboarding/training for FPOs, FCOs, and new employees as assigned.
  • Assist with review, maintenance, and revision of compliance and privacy policies and documentation.
  • Provide administrative support for the Compliance/Privacy Program and Records Management Office (e.g., tracking inquiries, processing vendor invoices, facilitating meetings).
  • Assist with exclusion screening of providers and vendors.
  • Analyze compliance/privacy program data and produce reports.
  • Participate in compliance/privacy committees, meetings, and special projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination; associate’s degree plus relevant experience).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare, compliance, data analytics, revenue cycle, or health information management.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel for analysis and reporting.

Preferred / Nice-to-Haves

  • Knowledge of HIPAA, including breach notification protocol (preferred).
  • Pursuing/maintaining a privacy or compliance certification (e.g., CHPC, CHC, CHRC).

Travel

  • Limited travel, approximately 10%.
