Commercial Counsel (German Speaker)

Role overview

Join Wiz as Commercial Counsel (German Speaker) to support revenue teams across EMEA. You will draft, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial agreements while ensuring compliance with company policies and risk tolerance.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support to revenue teams and help close contracts through coordination with other teams
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a broad range of agreements
• Advise on contract interpretation and negotiation strategy
• Support continuous improvement of agreement templates and legal processes
• Ensure agreements comply with company policies and risk tolerance

Requirements

• 4+ years of in-house legal experience in a software/technology company
• Fluency in German (written and verbal)
• Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Knowledge of data privacy and experience handling data privacy questions in Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)
• Experience drafting/negotiating high volumes of varied agreements, including:
  • SaaS contracts
  • Professional Services Agreements
  • Partner agreements
  • NDAs
• Admitted to the bar and in good standing (or otherwise authorized to practice) in Israel, the UK, or at least one European country

Nice to have / tools

• Experience with Salesforce, Slack, DocuSign, and contract lifecycle management systems
