Commercial Contracts Attorney

Role Overview

Join Axiom as a Commercial Contracts Attorney to support client work across a broad range of commercial contracting matters, with the opportunity to develop deeper expertise in the life sciences industry (e.g., clinical trials and R&D).

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts
• Advise clients on commercial contracting matters
• Collaborate with clients and experienced attorneys on life sciences contracting (including clinical trials and research & development)
• Build trusted, client-facing relationships in a remote work environment
• Contribute to a collaborative team culture and continue growing life sciences contracting expertise

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of relevant legal experience
• Strong background in commercial contracts
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong technology and problem-solving skills
• Active California Bar admission is preferred; candidates located in California are strongly preferred

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to life sciences contracting, including clinical trials and R&D
• Life sciences industry experience not required—candidates with strong commercial contracting experience who are eager to learn are encouraged to apply

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles: $104,500–$325,000/year
