About the role
Role Overview
As a CloudOps Engineer, you will join the Cloud Operations & DevOps team to manage Azure Cloud operations and support infrastructure deployments using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Azure Cloud operations, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) provisioning.
- Design, implement, and monitor GitLab CI/CD pipelines to deploy Terraform to Azure.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless integration and automation of cloud infrastructure.
- Continuously improve performance and scalability via automation and process optimization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment-related issues.
- Stay current with DevOps and Cloud Engineering best practices and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineer in production environments.
- Strong Terraform expertise for IaC deployments.
- Hands-on Azure Cloud Services experience (provisioning and resource management).
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines (mention includes GitHub, and the role specifically uses GitLab CI/CD for Terraform deployments).
- Solid understanding of cloud operations principles and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a remote team.
- Excellent English communication.
