About the role

Role Overview

Cloud Specialist DevOps (AWS Infrastructure) at Escala 24x7. You’ll help design, automate, secure, and optimize AWS-based infrastructures while supporting a strong DevOps culture.

Main Challenges

Stay current with AWS: continuous learning as AWS services evolve.
Ensure cloud security: implement and maintain security best practices in a complex, changing environment.
Optimize cloud costs: balance performance/scalability with cost controls and efficient resource management.
Automate complex processes: build CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for complex environments.
Resolve performance & scalability issues: diagnose and fix issues in distributed cloud systems.
Promote DevOps collaboration: increase collaboration between development and operations.

Required Skills

English level B2/C1.
Degree in Systems Engineering, Administration, Finance, or related field.
3+ years experience with FinOps practices, cloud financial management, or IT data analysis.
Deep AWS knowledge (core services, automation tooling, best practices).
Cloud security experience: identity/access management, data protection, and incident response.
Programming ability: Python, Node.js, Java, or .NET Core to automate tasks/integrations.
Serverless development: AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and other serverless technologies.
Container management: Docker, Kubernetes, and related tooling.
CI/CD experience using tools such as AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
Observability: CloudWatch, X-Ray, etc.
Cloud networking: design/configure secure, high-performance AWS networks.
FinOps tooling: Cost Explorer, Budgets, and cost optimization.
Agile & DevOps practices.
IaC: Terraform or CloudFormation.
