Cloud Solutions Architect (remote, 70-80k+bonus)

Role: Cloud Solutions Architect (Remote)

You will lead end-to-end presales and solution architecture for complex cloud and infrastructure opportunities, acting as a senior technical advisor to help customers design and modernize hybrid and cloud-native environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead presales engagements: RFI, RFP, SoW, PoCs.
• Design hybrid, cloud-native, and on-prem architectures, including migrations and modernization programs.
• Create high-impact proposals, architectures, and executive presentations for technical teams and C-level stakeholders (CIO/CTO/CFO).
• Run customer discovery workshops and technical briefings, translating business needs into scalable solutions with clear TCO/ROI trade-offs.
• Own and drive opportunities from ~€400k up to large deals; demonstrate proven success in designing and closing complex cloud & infrastructure offerings.
• Provide deep expertise across the cloud stack (compute, storage, networking, virtualization, Kubernetes, DevOps/CI-CD, ITSM) and support security/compliance requirements.
• Act as a trusted advisor across industries (Energy, Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing) and collaborate with internal SMEs; mentor junior architects.

Requirements

• 10+ years in enterprise IT, including 4+ years in presales, solution architecture, or technical consulting.
• Strong English proficiency.
• Experience with service sales processes for Datacenter, ITO, and cloud strategies (including migrations/architecture).
• Proven success designing and closing complex cloud & infrastructure deals.
• Strong technical expertise in Azure and/or AWS/GCP.
• IaC experience: Terraform and/or Bicep.
• Experience with Kubernetes, ITSM, CI/CD, and DevOps.
• Security/compliance expertise: Zero Trust, identity (Entra ID / Azure AD), and standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001, ENS.

Nice-to-haves

• Demonstrated experience across multiple verticals (Energy, Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing).
• Experience mentoring junior architects.
