About the role

Role Overview

The Cloud Solutions Architect designs, implements, and oversees scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud architectures. This role supports part-time or full-time fully remote work in the United States and requires close collaboration with engineering, operations, and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable, secure, high-performance cloud architectures
Lead cloud adoption and migration strategies for applications and infrastructure
Collaborate with development, operations, and product teams to define cloud solutions
Ensure cloud security, scalability, reliability, and cost optimization best practices
Create and maintain architecture documentation, diagrams, and standards
Evaluate and recommend new cloud services, tools, and technologies
Mentor team members on cloud architecture and design patterns

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience designing and deploying on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and DevOps practices
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

Cloud certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
Experience with SaaS in real estate/proptech
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability tools
