Cloud Solutions Architect

Role Overview

Bright Vision Technologies is hiring a Cloud Solutions Architect to design and govern cloud-native solutions across compute, networking, data, identity, and security on a major cloud platform. The role partners with business stakeholders, security architects, and engineering teams to turn strategic objectives into scalable, cost-effective cloud architectures that follow enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end cloud solutions across compute, networking, storage, identity, data, and observability.
• Lead cloud solution architecture reviews and approvals for major initiatives.
• Define cloud landing zones, account structures, and tagging strategies for new and existing workloads.
• Create and maintain reference architectures, blueprints, and reusable patterns for engineering teams.
• Architect security, identity, and compliance controls embedded into the cloud foundation.
• Design networking topologies (e.g., VPC/VNet, transit hubs, hybrid connectivity, private endpoints).
• Drive cloud migration, modernization, and re-platforming for application portfolios.
• Own cost optimization and capacity planning and drive FinOps practices to make cloud spend transparent and tied to business value.
• Partner with security architects to embed identity, data protection, and compliance from the outset.
• Produce architecture artifacts (the posting is truncated after this point).

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience (as stated).
• Strong breadth across modern cloud capabilities and deep expertise in at least one major cloud provider.
• Architectural judgment balancing time-to-market, cost, security, and long-term maintainability.
• Must be able to complete a mandatory technical coding assessment.
