About the role

Role Overview

Bright Vision Technologies is hiring a Cloud Solutions Architect to design and govern cloud-native solutions across compute, networking, data, identity, and security domains on a major cloud platform. You will partner with business stakeholders, security architects, and engineering teams to translate strategic objectives into practical, scalable, and cost-effective cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

Design end-to-end cloud solutions across compute, networking, storage, identity, data, and observability
Lead solution architecture reviews and approval processes for major cloud initiatives
Define cloud landing zone concepts, including account structure and tagging strategies
Create and maintain reference architectures, blueprints, and reusable patterns for engineering teams
Architect security, identity, and compliance controls embedded into the cloud foundation
Design networking topologies, including VPC/VNet design, transit hubs, hybrid connectivity, and private endpoints
Drive cloud migration, modernization, and re-platforming across application portfolios
Lead cost optimization, capacity planning, and FinOps practices; make spend transparent and tied to business value
Partner with security architects to embed identity, data protection, and compliance controls from the outset

Requirements

8+ years of experience
Strong breadth across modern cloud capabilities
Depth in at least one major cloud provider
Architectural judgment balancing time-to-market, cost, security, and long-term maintainability
Technical coding assessment is mandatory

Nice to Have

Experience establishing standardized cloud patterns and governance across multiple teams
Demonstrated FinOps/cost transparency experience in partnership with finance and engineering

Employment Details

Full-time, direct W2 (in-house SOW engagement)
100% remote within the Continental United States
Salary: $100K–$150K + benefits
H1B: No new sponsorship; H1B transfers welcomed for qualified candidates
No C2C/1099/third-party arrangements
