Cloud Solutions Architect

Role Overview

Cloud Solutions Architect to design and govern cloud-native solutions across compute, networking, data, identity, and security on a major cloud platform. You will translate business and security objectives into pragmatic, scalable, and cost-effective architectures aligned with enterprise standards.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end cloud solutions across compute, networking, storage, identity, data, and observability layers
• Lead solution architecture reviews and approval processes for major cloud initiatives
• Define cloud landing zone strategy, including account structure and tagging standards
• Create and maintain reference architectures, blueprints, and reusable patterns for engineering teams
• Architect security, identity, and compliance controls embedded into the cloud foundation
• Design networking topologies, including VPC/VNet design, transit hubs, hybrid connectivity, and private endpoints
• Drive cloud migration, modernization, and re-platforming across application portfolios
• Lead cost optimization, capacity planning, and FinOps practices; partner with Finance and Engineering to make cloud spend transparent and tied to business value
• Partner with security architects to embed identity, data protection, and compliance controls from the outset

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture and solution design
• Strong breadth across modern cloud capabilities
• Deep expertise in at least one major cloud provider
• Architectural judgment balancing time-to-market, cost, security, and long-term maintainability
• Must be willing to complete a technical coding assessment (mandatory)
