Cloud Solutions Architect

Role Overview

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to design and govern cloud-native solutions across compute, networking, data, identity, and security. You will partner with business stakeholders, security architects, and engineering teams to deliver pragmatic, scalable, and cost-effective architectures aligned with enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end cloud solutions across compute, networking, storage, identity, data, and observability.
• Lead solution architecture reviews and approval processes for major cloud initiatives.
• Define cloud landing zone, account structure, and tagging strategies for new and existing workloads.
• Create and promote reference architectures, blueprints, and reusable patterns across engineering teams.
• Architect security, identity, and compliance controls embedded into the cloud foundation.
• Design networking topologies (e.g., VPC/VNet design, transit hubs, hybrid connectivity, private endpoints).
• Drive cloud migration, modernization, and re-platforming initiatives.
• Own cost optimization, capacity planning, and FinOps practices in partnership with finance and engineering.
• Embed identity, data protection, and compliance controls from the outset by partnering with security architects.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience.
• Strong breadth across modern cloud capabilities, with deep expertise in at least one major cloud provider.
• Demonstrated architectural judgment balancing time-to-market, cost, security, and long-term maintainability.
• Technical coding assessment required.

Additional Notes

• 100% remote role (Continental United States).
• Full-time, direct W2 employment; no C2C/1099/third-party arrangements.
