Cloud Solution Architect - Cloud & AI Data Platform

Role Overview

Cloud Solution Architect – Cloud & AI Data Platform supports customers in building intelligent applications. You will advise on solution envisioning, design, and deployment using Azure AI services and modern cloud-native architectures, creating repeatable, scalable services that drive real-world customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical service delivery and serve as Subject Matter Expert for Cloud & AI Data Platform success services.
• Align solution architecture and design to business priorities; manage deployment and change adoption.
• Provide thought leadership across AI service components; develop intellectual property and influence design quality.
• Drive technical engagements to accelerate adoption of:
  • Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Microsoft Fabric
  • Azure AI Foundry, Azure Machine Learning, MLOps
  • Data governance platforms
• Ensure customer satisfaction by building trusted relationships with customer/partner architects, C-level technical decision makers, and business stakeholders.
• Bridge communication between technical and business decision makers.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer success and value realization.
• Support team skill development and share expertise with relevant communities.
• Collaborate with peers and product groups for unified delivery and technical excellence.

Requirements

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field AND 4+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies or related areas (IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, or consulting).
• OR equivalent experience.

Other / Preferred

• 8+ years (with Bachelor’s) or 6+ years (with Master’s) in relevant cloud/infrastructure + consulting roles.
• Customer-facing (4+ years) and technical project (4+ years) experience.
• Cloud technical certifications (Azure/AWS/Google and/or security).
• Demonstrated expertise in at least one Microsoft Data & AI platform:
  • Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL / Microsoft Fabric, Azure Machine Learning & MLOps, Azure AI Foundry.
• Data & AI certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure AI Engineer Associate).
• Experience with distributed data engineering, lakehouse architectures, MLOps, and data governance frameworks.
