Role Overview

Senior Cloud Security Engineer (Hybrid / Multi-Cloud)

You will secure a large hybrid ecosystem (30,000+ physical sites) across on-prem and AWS/Azure/GCP environments. This is a hands-on role centered on automation, AI-driven security operations, cloud engineering, and enterprise-scale threat detection.

What You’ll Be Doing

Design and implement automated compliance and hardening controls aligned to CIS and NIST frameworks
Secure hybrid infrastructure across on-prem data centers and AWS/Azure/GCP
Build and manage secure connectivity between cloud and on-prem using Transit Gateways and Service Mesh
Partner with Fraud and SOC teams to improve threat detection, SIEM integrations, and SOAR automation
Support Purple Team exercises and security efficacy testing across enterprise tenants
Develop AI/ML security guardrails to protect Databricks pipelines and LLM-integrated applications
Drive hyper-automation to reduce manual security operations via autonomous remediation workflows
Identify and govern “Shadow AI” usage across the enterprise

Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
Containers/Kubernetes: Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE), Docker
Data/Security Ops: Databricks, SIEM, SOAR
Identity: OAuth 2.0, SAML, CIAM
Automation/DevOps: Python (PySpark/Pandas), GitOps, CI/CD
Security tooling: API-first automation and cloud-native security tooling

Requirements

8+ years in cybersecurity engineering with strong cloud/hybrid infrastructure experience
Hands-on experience securing large-scale enterprise environments with 10,000+ workloads
Automation mindset and experience treating security as code
Experience applying AI/ML to operational or security scaling problems
Ability to explain complex AI-driven security decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

CISSP
CCSP
AWS Certified Security – Specialty
Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer

Additional Requirements

US Citizen or Green Card holder required
Ability to pass background, drug, and credit screening
Clearance eligibility required

Preferred locations: Morrisville, NC, Falls Church, VA, Eagan, MN
