About the role

Role Overview

Joveo AI is hiring a Cloud Engineer (Remote) to design, deploy, and manage cloud-native infrastructure for its global platform. You’ll build resilient, scalable, and cost-optimized systems that maintain performance and reliability as the business grows.

Responsibilities

Architect and deploy cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure
Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or similar tooling
Optimize resource utilization and manage cloud cost governance
Design networking and security: security groups, IAM policies, and access controls
Support cloud migrations and modernization projects
Create runbooks and disaster recovery procedures for critical systems

Required Skills & Qualifications

Deep hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform
Proficiency with Terraform, Pulumi, or AWS CDK for provisioning
Networking fundamentals: VPCs, subnets, DNS, load balancers
Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance
Familiarity with Kubernetes, ECS, or serverless compute platforms

Preferred

Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional, or equivalent)
