About the role

Role: Cloud Engineer (Remote)

Build and operate cloud-native infrastructure for Joveo’s global platform, ensuring systems are resilient, scalable, and cost-optimized.

Responsibilities

Architect and deploy cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, or Azure
Use Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform or similar)
Optimize resource utilization and implement cost governance
Design networking (e.g., VPCs, subnets, DNS, load balancers) and security (security groups, IAM, access controls)
Support teams with cloud migrations and modernization projects
Create runbooks and disaster recovery procedures for critical systems

Requirements

Deep hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform
Proficiency with Terraform, Pulumi, or AWS CDK
Strong fundamentals in networking and cloud security best practices
Knowledge of relevant compliance frameworks
Familiarity with Kubernetes, ECS, or serverless compute

Nice to Have

Cloud certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional, or equivalent)
