Cloud Engineer | Remote

Role Overview

Cloud Engineer (GCP DevOps Engineer) — Full-time ($200K–$300K/yr), Remote (10–40 hrs/week). You will design, operate, and optimize scalable cloud infrastructure on GCP with a strong focus on DevOps automation, Kubernetes reliability, and CI/CD efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and operations using DevOps best practices
• Administer and optimize Kubernetes clusters for reliability and performance
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and refine workflows
• Ensure security and compliance in cloud environments using best practices
• Identify and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks and incidents proactively
• Document solutions and processes clearly to support team knowledge sharing

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with GCP
• Deep expertise implementing/operating production cloud infrastructure
• Proficiency in Kubernetes administration and orchestration
• Solid understanding of DevOps methodologies and best practices
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Competence with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Deployment Manager)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
