About the role

Role Overview

Cloud Engineer (DevOps) at Trafilea. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient AWS-based cloud infrastructure to support digital transformation.

Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Design & Optimization
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architectures
- Optimize for cost-efficiency, scalability, and performance
- Implement auto-scaling, load balancing, caching, and other optimization techniques
Security & Compliance
- Apply IAM best practices, network security policies, and encryption
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal security policies
- Continuously monitor and improve cloud security posture
Automation & DevOps
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation
- Automate deployment pipelines and improve CI/CD processes
- Implement monitoring and alerting to maintain high availability
Incident Response & Troubleshooting
- Identify and resolve cloud incidents (infrastructure failures, performance bottlenecks)
- Partner with development teams to improve system reliability
Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
- Work with developers, security, and data teams to align cloud solutions with business needs
- Document architectures/processes and mentor others on cloud best practices

Requirements

Strong experience designing and operating AWS infrastructure with reliability, security, and cost optimization in mind
Ability to implement automation via IaC and improve CI/CD and monitoring/alerting
Solid security fundamentals (IAM, network security, encryption) and compliance awareness

Nice-to-haves

Experience supporting incident response and reliability improvements across teams
Strong documentation and mentoring/knowledge-sharing habits
