About the role

Role Overview

Cloud Engineer (Remote, USA) — H1B Transfer / Sponsorship Available. You’ll design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud environments across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, working with DevOps, Security, and Development to improve automation and ensure high availability.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP
Manage virtual networks, compute, storage, IAM, and cloud security controls
Automate provisioning using Terraform and/or CloudFormation/ARM templates
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using common DevOps tooling
Monitor cloud environments using tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk
Troubleshoot cloud, networking, and deployment issues
Optimize for cost, scalability, performance, and reliability
Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams to implement best practices
Support containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes
Maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions

Required Skills

Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
Hands-on Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience
Linux/Unix administration experience
Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
CI/CD and DevOps practices
Networking fundamentals (DNS, VPN, Load Balancers, Firewalls)
Scripting: Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Knowledge of cloud security and compliance standards

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT or related field
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, GCP)
Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments
Exposure to VMware, OpenShift, or serverless technologies (plus)
