Role Overview

Cloud Engineer (H1B) for a remote (USA) position. You will design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure to support high-availability systems, with strong automation and DevOps ownership.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP
Build secure, scalable, highly available systems
Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC (Terraform preferred, CloudFormation also mentioned)
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment
Manage networking, storage, and compute resources in the cloud
Apply security best practices, compliance, and governance
Optimize cloud costs and performance
Collaborate with DevOps, security, and development teams

Required Qualifications

3+ years as a Cloud Engineer / DevOps Engineer
Strong experience with one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP
Hands-on Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform preferred)
Working knowledge of Linux/Unix
Networking fundamentals: VPC, DNS, Load Balancing, VPN
CI/CD experience with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI
Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell

Preferred Qualifications

Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, GCP Engineer)
Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)
Knowledge of security tools and DevSecOps practices
