Cloud Engineer | $85/hr Remote

Role Overview

Hourly contract Cloud Engineer working on sprint-based remote projects (12–24 hour stretches depending on project requirements). You’ll complete and validate infrastructure engineering tasks, including reviewing model-generated implementations.

What You’ll Do

• Complete and evaluate complex infrastructure engineering tasks using coding agents
• Review model-generated implementations across cloud and platform components:
  • Cloud platforms
  • Kubernetes
  • CI/CD
  • Observability
  • Infrastructure automation
• Identify bugs, edge cases, reliability issues, and system failure modes
• Compare outputs from multiple models and assess strengths/weaknesses
• Apply engineering judgment to real-world infrastructure and reliability scenarios

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Engineering
• Strong experience with one or more of:
  • AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Kubernetes
  • Terraform
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Observability tooling
• Experience using coding agents and developer productivity tools
• Ability to evaluate model-generated infrastructure and reliability solutions
• Strong experience supporting production-scale systems

Contract & Rate

• $85/hour (hourly contract)
• Typical tasks pay about $400 and take 2–3 hours after ramp-up
