Cloud DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

Stefanini is hiring a Cloud DevOps Engineer (Remote) to help lead cloud strategy integration and execution for a Markets Business Technology team. You will design and integrate scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud solutions for customer-facing, cloud-based web application environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate with architects, developers, and technical support teams to deliver cloud application services in a managed service environment.
• Partner with business stakeholders and teams to identify technical and functional needs, prioritize requirements, and deliver capabilities or remediate issues.
• Analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflows, and logical processes.
• Translate business, information, and technical requirements into integration solution patterns across applications, systems, and platforms.
• Assess foundational services, integration services, and cloud operations/management capabilities.
• Champion and rationalize cloud approaches via proof of concept / proof of fit activities; guide technological direction.
• Establish application development direction, including tools, processes, and frameworks.
• Support documentation for application designs, assessments, security management, implementation plans, and post-implementation documentation.
• Participate in establishing cloud integration standards, patterns, and practices.
• Contribute to IT strategy development (environmental analysis, opportunities, business cases, innovation, portfolio development).

Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience in cloud/DevOps or related engineering roles.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• Proven ability to plan and engineer systems infrastructure: implementation and design of hardware/software, plus performance monitoring.
• Ability to lead and direct others; works under general supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree.
• AWS familiarity/experience.
