About the role

Role: Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer (Contract)

Location: Remote (United States) Commitment: 10–40 hrs/week

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure using Kubernetes across AWS and GCP.
Develop, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support seamless integration and continuous delivery.
Automate infrastructure management, monitoring, and deployments using Python and DevOps best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support robust cloud-native architectures and application reliability.
Monitor performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement proactive optimization and security improvements.
Document processes, architectures, and solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

Strong experience with Kubernetes orchestration and managing containerized applications.
Hands-on experience with both AWS and GCP.
Proven ability to build automation tools and scripts with Python.
Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, and DevOps principles.
Strong problem-solving skills in complex, distributed cloud environments.

Contract & Compensation

$30–$130/hour
Remote; 10–40 hrs/week
