About the role

Role: Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer (Contract)

Location: Remote (United States) Commitment: 10–40 hrs/week

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure using Kubernetes across AWS and GCP.
  • Develop, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support seamless integration and continuous delivery.
  • Automate infrastructure management, monitoring, and deployments using Python and DevOps best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support robust cloud-native architectures and application reliability.
  • Monitor performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement proactive optimization and security improvements.
  • Document processes, architectures, and solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Kubernetes orchestration and managing containerized applications.
  • Hands-on experience with both AWS and GCP.
  • Proven ability to build automation tools and scripts with Python.
  • Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, and DevOps principles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in complex, distributed cloud environments.

Contract & Compensation

  • $30–$130/hour
  • Remote; 10–40 hrs/week
