Cloud DevOps Engineer – AWS | Remote

Role Overview

Cloud DevOps Engineer (AWS) — Hourly contract for a remote team working 10–40 hours/week. You’ll design and operate CI/CD and cloud infrastructure to improve reliability, scalability, and service availability.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
• Provision, deploy, and manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes in cloud environments
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to improve reliability and scalability
• Optimize system performance and ensure high availability
• Maintain comprehensive system documentation and operational standards
• Apply CI/CD best practices across continuous integration and continuous delivery workflows

Requirements

• Strong experience in DevOps or related engineering roles
• Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS
• Proficiency with Terraform and GitHub Actions
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
