About the role

Role Overview

Joveo AI is hiring a Cloud Architect (Remote) to define and lead the evolution of its cloud infrastructure strategy. You will design resilient, scalable, multi-region architectures for a platform that processes millions of real-time hiring decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and own end-to-end cloud architecture across production environments
Define infrastructure standards, patterns, and best practices for engineering teams
Lead cloud migration and modernization for legacy systems
Evaluate and select cloud services, vendors, and architectural trade-offs
Drive cost optimization and FinOps practices across cloud accounts
Mentor DevOps and platform engineers on cloud architecture and design patterns

Required Skills & Qualifications

Deep architectural expertise in AWS, GCP, or Azure
Experience designing distributed, fault-tolerant cloud systems
Proven multi-region / multi-AZ deployment architecture experience
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Pulumi
Understanding of cloud security architecture, compliance, and governance

Nice to Have

Cloud architecture certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent)
