About the role

Role Overview

Joveo AI is hiring a Cloud Architect (Remote) to define and lead the evolution of its cloud infrastructure strategy. You will design resilient, scalable, multi-region architectures that support a platform handling millions of real-time hiring decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Own and design end-to-end cloud architecture across production environments
Define infrastructure standards, patterns, and best practices for engineering teams
Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives for legacy systems
Evaluate and select cloud services, vendors, and architectural trade-offs
Drive cost optimization and FinOps practices across cloud accounts
Mentor DevOps and platform engineers on architecture and cloud design patterns

Required Skills & Qualifications

Architectural-level expertise in AWS, GCP, or Azure
Strong experience designing distributed, fault-tolerant cloud systems
Experience with multi-region and multi-AZ deployment architectures
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including Terraform or Pulumi, and automation at scale
Understanding of cloud security architecture, compliance, and governance

Nice to Have

Cloud architecture certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent)
