About the role
Role Overview
Joveo Ai is hiring a Cloud Architect to define and lead the evolution of its cloud infrastructure strategy. You will design resilient, scalable, multi-region architectures that support a platform processing millions of real-time hiring decisions.
Responsibilities
- Design and own end-to-end cloud architecture across production environments
- Define infrastructure standards, patterns, and best practices for engineering teams
- Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives for legacy systems
- Evaluate and select cloud services, vendors, and architectural trade-offs
- Drive cost optimization and FinOps practices across cloud accounts
- Mentor DevOps and platform engineers on architecture and cloud design patterns
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Architectural-level expertise in AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Strong background designing distributed, fault-tolerant cloud systems
- Experience with multi-region and multi-AZ deployment architectures
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including Terraform and/or Pulumi
- Understanding of cloud security architecture, compliance, and governance
- Cloud architecture certification strongly preferred (AWS Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent)
