Role Overview

Cloud/Systems Solutions Architect (Contract) — Remote. Design and deliver scalable microservices-based solutions on AWS, partnering with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to turn business needs into technical architectures.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable microservices-based solutions on AWS to improve performance and reliability
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to produce technical blueprints from business requirements
• Design and maintain infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, and related tooling
• Ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements, including reliability, security, and performance
• Mentor stakeholders on cloud architecture best practices and emerging trends
• Document architecture decisions and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences

Requirements

• Strong experience architecting and deploying microservices-based applications
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS core services and infrastructure as code (IaC)
• Mastery of Docker and Kubernetes for cloud-native container orchestration
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent relevant experience

Contract & Availability

• 10–40 hrs/week
• Compensation: $40–$100/hour
